This sweet newborn session took place at the Albrecht’s home on Lake Norman. This was my third time photographing this family (see Jennifer’s maternity session here), and I am always thrilled with the way the images turn out. A little bit of posed with a little bit of candid, and it always results in beautiful pictures for the family to cherish for the years ahead. Thank you again, Albrecht Family, for trusting me with these special times in your lives!
I absolutely loved this maternity session! Jennifer wanted to do their session at their home which is nestled on Lake Norman. It’s a beautiful home and Brad does an excellent job at maintaining their yard, so it was picture perfect for a backyard session. Keep an eye out on the blog for their sweet little arrival that came not long after this shoot. Baby Lily’s newborn session has been published on a few blogs, so stay tuned!
So I’ve held off on blogging this lovely session because I submitted it for publication, and usually publishers prefer to be the first to showcase the images. It has since been featured a couple of times, so it’s safe now to post them on my own blog! This session actually happened in February of this year, and I’ve since had the pleasure of photographing baby Carl’s newborn session, in addition to another family session when he was a few months old! Time flies! Enjoy a sneak peek of Matt & Emily’s beautiful maternity session at Clover Community Park!
I have the pleasure of knowing this beautiful couple, and am so excited for them as they await the arrival of their first little one. We ventured to Furman University to do the session, where Melanie went to college. We started off at a beautiful rose garden, then finished up on a stretch of lawn lined with beautiful tall oak trees. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
Finally getting around to blogging a few sessions from recent months. I actually just did a session for the Horton’s newest arrival, baby Clare. These family photos were taken back in May when Clare was still ‘baking’! We actually started their session at Kings Mountain State Park, but rain drove us back to Tega Cay in Fort Mill. Luckily the rain held off, and the overcast sky made it wonderful for afternoon photos. Here are some of my favorites from their session. Check back later to see baby Clare’s newborn session!
