I absolutely loved this engagement shoot at Glencairn Garden in Rock Hill, SC. No matter how many times I shoot there, I always find new places within the garden I like to shoot, and that evening light?! You can’t beat it! Philip & Courtney were married in June, so stay tuned for their wedding that will be blogged later this month! For now, enjoy some of their lovely engagement images!
This lovely couple was married on October 17th, however I have yet to share their engagement photos until now. We toured around Glencairn Garden, and even practiced some slow dancing for the wedding day. Hunter & Lisa were a blast to work with, care free and up for whatever I asked them to do. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
So thankful to have photographed this family again! It’d been a while…since I photographed Bennett’s newborn session to be exact! Check it out here if you didn’t see it before. Lots of genuine smiles and expressions in these, and even though it was a bit cloudy that day, it still turned out to be a great day for a session. Thankful for families like the Trone family, who return to my business many times to have their portraits done. Enjoy some sneak peeks!
This was my second session with this sweet family, and I was just as pleased the second time around as I was the first. Sweet Elizabeth has such a captivating smile, and it was so fun to watch her walk around, which she wasn’t able to do at our first visit together! Enjoy some of my favorite’s from the Hunters’ session:
Meet Miss Lila Mae! Her mommy and daddy brought her home in December, and wanted some photos of their new family after Lila had a chance to ‘settle in’ for a while. She is a beautiful little girl, and it was a lot of fun trying to get her to crack a smile! She was a tough one, but we got some sweet expressions after all!
This first birthday was definitely in my top three for cutest decorated party. Their mom is so good with artsy stuff, and made the banners and the detailed posters herself, as well as the setup in the first image. These sweet girls (Janie & Ellie), together known as ‘Jellie’, are identical twins that were born prematurely. I had the pleasure of photographing their ‘Peanut Butter & ‘Jellie’ themed party. How perfect?! Enjoy a preview into their special day!
For those of you who are familiar with sunflower blooms, you know they only last just a couple short weeks. There are a few not too far from my home so I decided to take my kids down to get some pictures before they withered away. Unfortunately it was super hot during the time of day we went, so a lot of the flowers were droopy and not photo-worthy. They were calling for rain later that afternoon so we had to make it work. While I didn’t get but just a few with the flowers themselves, I am thrilled with what we got instead!
